The art of eating tapas may have been born in Spain, but today it's a cultural phenomenon that has just hit Balham.

The Fat Delicatessen embraces the flexibility of eating tapas and adds a touch of sophistication. As well as a daily bar menu which consists of a variety of light and more robust options, there's also a specials board reeling off an upmarket melange of Spanish and Italian dishes.

You can pick as much or as little as you like from a nibble to a plateful and if you're still not satisfied you can take home pre packed gourmet meals available from our deli and charcuterie.

We are situated directly opposite Balham tube and mainline station providing an easy stop-gap en route to work or play.

Over the last few months The Fat Deli has played host to a number of private parties. Due to the success and increased demand for space, we\'re happy to hire out the whole or part of the deli and provide a party menu for individual events.
